This study aims to examine the effect of using manipulative learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Pesu 2. Manipulative media are utilized to help students understand abstract mathematical concepts through direct interaction with concrete objects. This research applied a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach, in which students were given a pre-test before the treatment and a post-test after the implementation of manipulative media in learning. The sample consisted of fourth-grade students selected as research participants. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test analysis. The findings indicate a significant positive effect of manipulative learning media on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the paired sample t-test show a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (t = 8.22; p < 0.05), indicating an improvement in students’ understanding after the intervention. These findings support the hypothesis that manipulative media enhance students’ conceptual understanding and learning achievement in elementary mathematics. Practically, the use of manipulative media can enrich learning experiences and increase student engagement in mathematics instruction. Future studies are recommended to involve larger samples and explore additional factors influencing the effectiveness of manipulative media in mathematics learning.
