Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of learning and to determine the advantages and disadvantages of implementing Mathematics  learning  using  the  STAD  model and snake ladder media in mathematical learning with flat figure material. in the fourth grade students of SDN Krowe 3. The type of research used in this study was descriptive. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, documentation. The data validity technique uses data triangulation  technique  consisting  of  source triangulation, technique triangulation, time triangulation. Data  analysis  techniques  used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclucion drawing / verification. The results of research on the application of snakes and ladders game media with the STAD learning model in mathematics subject matter of flat structure, can have a positive impact  on student activity in participating in learning. Secondly, the advantages of implementing Mathematics learning using the STAD model and snake ladder media  in  mathematics  learning with  flat build material in  fourth  grade students of SDN Krowe 3, students can   play an active role in  the learning  process,  and improve student skills, while the drawback is that class situations tend to be crowded when sharing group
