Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Manipulatif Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Kelas IV SDN Pesu 2
Keywords:

This study aims to determine the effect of using manipulative learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of 4th-grade students at SDN Pesu 2. Manipulative learning media are used to facilitate understanding of abstract mathematical concepts through direct interaction with real objects. This research employs an experimental design with a pre-experimental approach, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design, where students are given a pre-test and post-test after receiving the treatment. The data analysis results show that the use of manipulative media has a significant positive impact on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on paired sample t-tests, a significant difference was found between the pre-test and post-test scores (t = 8.22, p-value < 0.05). This study supports the hypothesis that manipulative media can improve students' understanding and mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. Practically, the results of this study suggest that using manipulative media can enrich students' learning experiences and increase their engagement in mathematics learning. Future research is recommended to involve a larger sample and explore individual factors that influence the effectiveness of manipulative media.
