Peranan Guru Dalam Interaksi Edukatif SIswa Kelas VI Pada Pelajaran Matematika SD Negeri Karangsono Kecamatan Barat
Abstract
In Karangsono State Elementary School, mathematics is basically taught to help train students' thinking patterns so that they can solve problems critically, logically, carefully and precisely. However, many students consider mathematics to be a difficult subject. In this case, the role of teachers is very important in improving students' understanding of mathematics, because one of the factors in students' success in learning is how teachers teach them. This study aims to (1) determine the role of teachers as demonstrators in improving students' understanding of mathematics in Grade VI, (2) determine the role of teachers as class managers in improving students' understanding of mathematics in Grade VI, and (3) determine teachers' efforts in improving students' understanding of mathematics in Grade VI. In its implementation, this study uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The data collection procedures used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used by researchers are through the process of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of the data analysis above, it can be seen that: (1) the role of the teacher as a demonstrator in improving the understanding of mathematics subjects for Class VI students, (2) the role of the teacher as a class manager in improving the understanding of mathematics subjects for Class VI students, (3) the teacher's efforts in improving the understanding of mathematics subjects for Class II students.
