The use of computer networks in schools plays a vital role in supporting digital-based learning processes and administrative services. However, the increasing dependence on network infrastructure also raises the risk of technical disruptions and security threats that may interfere with school operations. This study aims to develop and evaluate a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for handling network incidents in schools to enhance preparedness and improve response effectiveness. This research employed an applied research design with a qualitative descriptive approach through a case study conducted in a school environment. The research stages included needs analysis, SOP development for network incident handling, implementation testing through simulated incidents, and evaluation of its effectiveness. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The findings indicate that the developed SOP provides structured and systematic guidelines for school technical teams in responding to network incidents. Simulation testing demonstrated improvements in response time, accuracy of handling procedures, and consistency during the network recovery process. Therefore, the development and implementation of a network incident handling SOP contribute significantly to improving preparedness and strengthening effective school network management.
