PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS DIGITAL DI DESA SURATMAJAN, KECAMATAN MAOSPATI

The rapid transformation of the educational landscape requires primary school teachers to possess strong digital pedagogical competencies. However, educators in rural areas, including Suratmajan Village, Maospati District, face significant challenges in developing engaging digital learning materials due to limited technical training and professional development opportunities. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in designing and implementing digital-based learning media. The program employed a collaborative learning-by-doing approach through intensive workshops utilizing accessible design tools and interactive platforms. Teachers were trained to create multimedia presentations, interactive quizzes, and visually engaging instructional materials aligned with the primary school curriculum. In addition to technical skills, the training emphasized pedagogical integration to ensure that digital tools effectively supported learning objectives. The results demonstrate a substantial improvement in teachers’ ability to design independent digital teaching materials and increased confidence in integrating technology into classroom instruction. This initiative contributes to strengthening teachers’ professional competence and supports the development of a more inclusive, innovative, and technology-integrated learning environment in primary education within the Maospati District
