Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the influence of the Snowball Throwing model to improve the learning achievement of class V students of SDN Ngiliran I, Panekan District, Magetan Regency. This study is a Quasi Experimental study conducted in class V. The researcher used two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Class V-A as the control class with 40 students, and class VI-B as the experimental class with 39 students. The study aims to determine the effect of learning outcomes of students taught using the Snowball Throwing Cooperative Learning Model and students taught using the Conventional Learning Model. Based on research conducted in class V of SDN Ngiliran I, it shows a significant influence of the application of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA). This can be seen based on the average of student learning outcomes using the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model is 82.31. While the average student learning outcomes using the Conventional learning model is 81.25. Based on the results of the t-test, 8.689 > 1.671 was obtained.
