Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) To determine the relationship between arm muscles and smash ability in volleyball games at SMK Maospati, Maospati District, Magetan Regency 2) To determine the relationship between height and smash ability in SMK Maospati students, Maospati District, Magetan Regency 3) To determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and height and smash ability in SMK Maospati students, Magetan Regency The type of research is quantitative descriptive. This research is a correlation research. The subjects in this study were SMK Maospati students, Magetan Class X and XI with a total of 12 students. The instruments in the study were test sheets to measure arm muscle strength, height and smash ability. The data analysis techniques used were mean, standard deviation, Lilliefors, homogeneity test, product moment correlation, and multiple correlation. Based on the results of processing and analyzing research data, it can be concluded in several ways in accordance with the problems in this study. The conclusions are as follows: 1) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and volleyball smash ability in students of Maospati Vocational School, Maospati District, Magetan Regency. 2) There is a significant relationship between height and volleyball smash ability in students of Maospati Vocational School, Maospati District, Magetan Regency, and 3) There is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and height and volleyball smash ability in students of Maospati Vocational School, Maospati District, Magetan Regency.
