Effective writing is a fundamental competency for elementary school principals, as it underpins their responsibilities in preparing policy documents, official correspondence, school reports, proposals, and strategic planning. However, many principals still face challenges in producing structured, coherent, and evidence-based written documents that reflect professional leadership standards. This community service program aims to strengthen principals’ writing proficiency through training on best practice writing techniques tailored to the administrative and managerial needs of elementary education. The training employed a practice-based approach consisting of theoretical presentations, guided discussions, and hands-on writing exercises. Core materials included techniques for developing clear and functional policy documents, preparing formal reports, and composing effective official letters aligned with administrative standards. The results indicate that the training enhanced principals’ understanding of systematic writing principles and improved their practical skills in producing high-quality school documents. The program also encouraged more accountable, transparent, and communicative leadership practices within participating schools. Overall, this initiative contributed to improving school management quality in Maospati District and reinforced the strategic role of principals as education leaders capable of documenting and communicating policies effectively.
