The Montessori method offers a very different approach from traditional education, emphasizing learning tailored to the child's individual rhythm and needs. In principle, Montessori prioritizes direct, experiential learning and interaction with a well-structured environment. This approach encourages children to learn independently, develop a sense of responsibility, and improve their motor and cognitive skills. The application of this method in early childhood education (PAUD), especially in kindergarten (TK), has shown various benefits in improving the quality of learning. This paper aims to examine the application of the Montessori method in early childhood education in kindergarten, and its impact on child development. Through qualitative research involving observations and interviews with educators and parents, this paper will analyze the application of the Montessori method, the challenges faced, and the results obtained.
