Abstract

The Montessori method, developed by Maria Montessori in the early 20th century, is an educational approach that focuses on independent, child-oriented learning, and prioritizes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. The application of this method in early childhood education (PAUD), particularly in kindergartens (TK), has demonstrated numerous benefits in improving the quality of learning. This paper aims to examine the application of the Montessori method in early childhood education in kindergartens and its impact on child development. Through qualitative research involving observations and interviews with educators and parents, this paper will analyze the implementation of the Montessori method, the challenges faced, and the results obtained.
