This study investigates the implementation of animation movies as an instructional medium to enhance the narrative writing skills of ninth-grade students at MTsN 10 Magetan. A quasi-experimental design employing pre-test and post-test measurements was used to assess students’ improvement. Observation and documentation techniques were also utilized to support the quantitative findings. The results demonstrate a significant increase in students’ narrative writing scores after the use of animation movies in the teaching process. Additionally, students exhibited higher motivation and engagement during learning activities. Animation movies were found to be effective in helping learners understand narrative elements, organize ideas coherently, and enhance creativity in writing.
