Abstract

This community service program aims to analyze the implementation and impact of TOEFL-equivalent English language training for teachers and staff at Maospati Vocational High School. English proficiency is an essential skill for educators and school administrators, particularly in the era of globalization, where communication and professional development increasingly require adequate language competence. The training was conducted through an intensive course designed to strengthen participants’ listening, reading, speaking, and writing abilities aligned with TOEFL standards.

A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that the training successfully improved participants' English proficiency, both for academic purposes and workplace-related communication. Furthermore, the program enhanced participants’ motivation to continue developing their English skills, contributing to improved teaching quality and administrative performance at Maospati Vocational High School. The study recommends expanding and sustaining this training program to strengthen English language competency among educators and educational personnel across institutions.
