This community service program aims to examine the implementation of fun English learning methods through storytelling and crafting activities conducted during the month of Ramadan at SMP Negeri 2 Maospati. These activities were designed to enhance students’ motivation and English proficiency by utilizing the unique cultural atmosphere of Ramadan as an engaging and contextually relevant learning theme. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with a qualitative approach was employed, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The participants were seventh- and eighth-grade students who joined extracurricular English sessions focusing on storytelling and crafting. The findings indicate that the integration of storytelling and crafting provided students with opportunities to be creative while actively practicing their English-speaking and listening skills. The relaxed and festive learning environment during Ramadan also increased student engagement. Pre-test and post-test results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ speaking skills and vocabulary comprehension. These findings suggest that storytelling combined with crafting can serve as an effective alternative method for English instruction, particularly when aligned with cultural and time-specific contexts that encourage creativity and active participation.
