This study aims to design and implement a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) for mapping tourism potential in Magetan Regency. The region possesses diverse tourist attractions distributed across multiple districts; however, information regarding their locations and detailed descriptions has not been presented in an integrated and easily accessible format. Therefore, a visual, accurate, and interactive system is required to support more effective tourism promotion and management. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with tourism managers and local government officials, and a review of relevant literature on tourism data management and GIS development. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The resulting web-based GIS provides digital maps of tourist destinations accompanied by supporting information such as descriptions, available facilities, and geographic coordinates. The findings indicate that the system enables users to access tourism information quickly and accurately, enhances promotional efforts, and assists local authorities in monitoring, managing, and planning tourism development in a structured and integrated manner.
