The rapid development of digital technology has increased the use of job search applications as the primary medium for accessing employment information. However, many existing applications have not fully aligned with user needs and contemporary labor market demands, particularly in terms of interface design and user experience. This study aims to develop a job search application design that is responsive to market demands by applying a design thinking approach. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, which included user needs analysis, design conceptualization, prototype development, and usability evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and user observations. The developed prototype was tested to assess usability and feature relevance. The results indicate that the proposed design achieved good usability performance, with an average User Experience score of 4.2 out of 5. These findings suggest that a user-centered design approach enhances the effectiveness of job search applications in facilitating job-matching processes. Therefore, application development that prioritizes user needs can serve as a strategic solution to bridge job seekers with labor market demands in the digital era.
