WEBINAR GURU PLB DALAM PENDAMPINGAN UNTUK ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DI SEKOLAH INKLUSI DI KECAMATAN MAOSPATI

This webinar was conducted to enhance the competencies of Special Education (PLB) teachers in assisting children with special needs (ABK) in inclusive schools in Maospati District. The program aimed to provide teachers with a deeper understanding of inclusive and adaptive learning approaches to support the academic, social, and behavioral development of children with special needs.
The webinar addressed a range of topics, including the identification of characteristics of children with special needs, effective instructional strategies, behavioral management techniques, and the utilization of technology-based learning media. Interactive elements, such as question-and-answer sessions and group discussions, were incorporated to facilitate knowledge exchange and to address practical challenges encountered by teachers in inclusive classroom settings.
The results of this activity indicate an improvement in teachers’ knowledge and professional skills in supporting children with special needs more effectively. Participants reported high levels of satisfaction with the relevance and applicability of the materials presented and emphasized the importance of continuous professional development to strengthen inclusive education practices. This webinar is expected to serve as an initial step toward the development of more effective and sustainable inclusive education in Maospati District, ultimately contributing to improved learning outcomes for children with special needs.
