Innovations in learning models for students with physical disabilities (tunadaksa) require technological adaptations capable of overcoming mobility barriers without reducing the quality of pedagogical interaction. This community service program aimed to implement a blended learning model as a solution to improve educational accessibility at SLB Negeri Karangrejo. The activities were carried out through educational webinars and mentoring on adaptive learning media design, involving Special Education (PLB) students as prospective practitioners and teachers as implementation partners. The primary focus of the program was to integrate academic perspectives with field-based practices in order to create a learning environment that is physically accessible and psychologically motivating for students with physical disabilities.
The results of the program indicated an improvement in PLB students’ practical understanding of designing blended learning instruction, as well as increased teacher capacity in addressing limitations of conventional teaching methods. At the institutional level, SLB Negeri Karangrejo strengthened its profile as an inclusive school that is open to collaborative innovation. The long-term impact of this initiative is the development of collective community awareness regarding the importance of digital and physical accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities. The program concludes that blended learning is not merely a technological alternative, but a strategic instrument to support independence and self-confidence among students with physical disabilities, while also contributing new academic references in the field of Special Education.
