PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III DI SD NEGERI SUKOWINANGUN 1

This study explores the application of the cooperative learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes for third-grade students at SD Negeri Sukowinangun 1. Conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR), the study focused on enhancing student engagement and achievement through cooperative learning strategies. The subjects consisted of 30 third-grade students, with data collected through tests, observations, and interviews. In this study, students worked in small groups to engage in tasks that promoted collaboration, discussion, and problem-solving. The research was implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Pre- and post-cycle tests were conducted to measure improvements in student academic performance. The results showed a significant increase in students' mathematics test scores. The class average score improved from 65% in the pre-cycle test to 85% after the second cycle. Furthermore, students demonstrated greater enthusiasm and active participation in the learning process, improving social skills such as teamwork, communication, and mutual support. The study concludes that the cooperative learning model effectively enhances mathematics learning outcomes and supports the development of essential social skills in third-grade students. It is recommended that teachers integrate cooperative learning into their instructional practices to further improve student achievement and holistic development.
