This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of workshops in building environmental awareness through project-based learning activities at Kentangan 2 Public Elementary School (SDN). Environmental awareness in elementary school students is crucial for instilling values of caring for nature and preparing a generation capable of preserving the environment. Project-based learning is considered an effective method for integrating environmental topics with practical experiences that students can directly apply. In this study, workshops involved students in various project activities related to environmental issues, such as waste management, reforestation, and recycling. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, and questionnaires completed by students before and after the workshop. The results showed a significant increase in students' environmental knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors after participating in project-based learning activities. A t-test showed a significant difference between students' pre-test and post-test scores regarding environmental awareness. This study suggests that project-based learning activities focused on environmental issues can be implemented more widely in elementary schools to increase environmental awareness in future generations.
