Perancangan Sistem Transportasi Publik Khusus di Kota Metropolitan Jakarta Pasca DKJ
Keywords:
traffic congestion, public transportation system, integration of transportation modes technologyAbstract
As the capital city of Indonesia and one of the largest metropolitan areas in Southeast Asia, Jakarta faces a significant challenge with increasing traffic congestion, driven by the rapid growth of population and motor vehicles. The existing public transportation system has not been fully effective in addressing this issue. Therefore, the design of a more efficient public transportation system specifically for Jakarta becomes a crucial solution to reduce congestion, improve air quality, and provide an alternative mode of transportation. This study aims to design a public transportation system that meets the mobility needs of Jakarta’s residents in a more effective and environmentally friendly manner, considering the integration of transportation modes, the use of technology, and policies that support sustainability.
