Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Petani Di Desa Banjarejo Kecamatan Panekan Kabupaten Magetan
Abstract
This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of rubber farmers in Banjarejo Village, Panekan District, Magetan Regency. The sample of this research is rubber farmers in Banjarejo Village, Panekan District, Magetan Regency. The population of rubber farmers consists of 122 households (heads of families). Samples taken were 20% of the total population, namely 20 rubber farmers who were determined by simple random sampling (simple random sample).
The results showed that the socio-economic conditions of rubber farmers due to lower rubber prices in Banjarejo Village, Panekan District, Magetan Regency, the average education level of farmer children graduated from high school, good health condition, had their own house made of tin roofed concrete and plate/concrete floors. , rubber farmers have an average of 3-5 children with an average consumption amount of Rp.1,003,750. The average land area of rubber farmers is 1.785, with a production level of 140.3 kg with a selling price of Rp.6000/kg. In general, the income from rubber farming is low (unable to meet needs), but rubber farmers have income other than income from rubber. In addition to rubber plantations, farmers have land with an average area of 0.665 ha which is used as land for raising livestock and farming cassava leaves as animal feed. Rubber farmers in Banjarejo Village save more and save their money in cooperatives.
