The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly transformed educational practices, particularly in the development of learning media. Multimedia-based learning media have the potential to enhance learning effectiveness, improve instructional quality, and increase student engagement. However, many teachers, especially in areas with limited technological access, face challenges in designing and utilizing multimedia-based instructional materials. This study aimed to conduct training for teachers at SMAN 1 Sampung Ponorogo to improve their competence in developing multimedia-based learning media. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered before and after the training to assess participants’ understanding and skills. The training focused on the use of accessible multimedia software, including PowerPoint, Camtasia, and Adobe Spark, to create interactive presentations, instructional videos, and learning modules. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ technical skills and pedagogical awareness in integrating multimedia into classroom instruction. Participants also demonstrated strong enthusiasm toward technology-based learning innovation. This program is expected to serve as a practical model for other schools seeking to implement more innovative and engaging learning practices through educational technology.
