This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education at Dharma Wanita Kebonsari Special Needs School in Madiun Regency and its contribution to the advancement of national education. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with the school principal, teachers, education staff, and parents involved as research participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of data sources, techniques, and time, as well as member checking. Data analysis followed the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
The findings indicate that inclusive education at Dharma Wanita Kebonsari Special Needs School is implemented in an adaptive manner and oriented toward the individual needs of students. Teachers perform multiple roles as educators, facilitators, and mentors in supporting students’ learning and development. Meanwhile, school management provides institutional support through flexible policies, academic supervision, and collaboration with parents and relevant institutions. The implementation of inclusive education at this school contributes to equitable access to education, improves the quality of educational services, and strengthens the values of inclusivity within the broader framework of national education development.
