Pendekatan Berbasis Lingkungan Untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains, Motivasi, Dan Berpikir Kritis
Keywords:

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of technology-supported environmentalbased
learning in enhancing science literacy, learning motivation, and critical thinking skills of elementary
school students. The participants were 90 fifth-grade students from three elementary schools, purposively
divided into experimental and control groups. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control
group design was employed. The research instruments included a science literacy test, a learning
motivation questionnaire, and a critical thinking assessment rubric. The results revealed that
environmental-based learning integrated with technologies such as augmented reality and problem-based
exploration significantly improved students’ understanding of ecosystem concepts, learning motivation, and
critical thinking skills. These findings indicate that integrating technology into contextual learning can
strengthen student engagement and enhance the quality of science education in elementary schools. This
study recommends the development of interactive teaching materials that combine environmental
exploration and technology to support 21st-century learning.
