Abstract

Ponpes Mahad Islam Jamalullail is a foundation that has only been established in the city of Belinyu since 2013. Until now there are 5 existing formal educational institutions, such as TKIT, SDIT, SMPIT, SMK, and Islamic boarding schools. However, notification of school information is still done manually. Promotional activities are carried out by relying on brochures which are widely spread by word of mouth and the latest information is still posted on the bulletin board, or through speakers installed in each class, and leaflets distributed to students. The promotional media used banners and pamphlets to be disseminated to the public. Therefore, in this study, a website was made as a promotional media based on code igniter using the method waterfall, with the stages in this method namely the stages of analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. The method of data collection by observation and interviews. The website is made using the code igniter framework with the MVC model which is used to build websites using the PHP language. With the creation of website this, the reach of promotion is wider and information can be conveyed quickly and can be used as a public attraction.
