Keywords:
Farmer entrepreneurship; agricultural innovation; Sugihwaras Village; SWOT; rural empowerment.Abstract
This study aims to formulate strategies for strengthening and innovating farmer entrepreneurship in Sugihwaras Village. The research used a descriptive qualitative case study approach conducted from September 6 to October 6, 2022. Data were collected through observation, interviews, focus group discussion, and document review, then analyzed thematically and using SWOT. The findings indicate that farmers have production experience, local commodities, collective work, and social institutional support. However, business record-keeping, market orientation, post-harvest innovation, quality standardization, digital marketing, and productive financing access remain limited. Priority strategies include entrepreneurial literacy, post-harvest innovation, group-based business units, gradual digital marketing, value-chain partnerships, and business-plan-based financing.
