Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar PPKn Materi Pancasila Melalui Metode Think Pair Share Pada Siswa Kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 1 Gondang Kabupaten Tulungagung Semester I Tahun 2019/2020
Abstract
The inactivity of students involved in the Civics learning process can occur because the
method used does not involve students' activities directly. Learning in the classroom is still dominated by
teachers so that they are less able to build better perceptions, interests, and attitudes of students. The task
of the teacher in the learning process is to create an atmosphere that can support student learning
conditions, especially in the learning process. The application of Think Pair Share is expected to improve
student achievement in Pancasila material.Based on the background of the problem, the problem in this
study can be formulated as follows: "How is the PPKn Learning Achievement in Pancasila Materials
Improved through the Think Pair Share Method in Class VIII-D Students of SMP Negeri 1 Gondang,
Tulungagung Regency, Semester I 2019/2020?". From the problems that have been formulated, the
purpose of this study is to improve Civics Learning Achievement in Pancasila Materials through the
Implementation of Think Pair Share in Class VIII-D Students of SMP Negeri 1 Gondang Semester I
2019/2020.
Subjects in this study were determined based on certain considerations. This consideration is because
students have difficulty in learning. Improving Learning Achievement in Civics Subjects for Pancasila
Materials for Class VIII-DSMP Negeri 1 Gondang Students, Tulungagung Regency, Semester I
2019/2020. This is known from the average score of these students who are still much below the KKM.
The subjects of this study were students of Class VIII-D Semester I Academic Year 2019/2020 SMP
Negeri 1 Gondang, Tulungagung Regency, totaling 33 students.In classroom learning with Pancasila
material through the application of the Think Pair Share method, it can improve student achievement in
Class VIII-D SMP Negeri 1 Gondang, this is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes in
each cycle. The average value of pre-cycle students is 73.64 with a complete percentage of 48.48%. Then
the average value increased in Cycle I by 78.18 with a percentage of completeness of 66.67% and in
Cycle II the average value increased again to 87.27 with a percentage of completeness of 100%.
