Peningkatan Etos Kerja Guru Di SD Negeri 3 Talang Dalam Menghadapi Penilaian Kinerja Guru Melalui Kegiatan Pelatihan Oleh Kepala Sekolah Pada Supervisi Akademik Tahun 2019
Abstract
This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Talang in the first semester of 2019/2020. The study was successful if 90% of the participants had achieved a minimum score of 80 or a good category after being given the action. Recognition of a person's academic ability as evidenced by the award of a diploma or certificate does not change as long as the person holds the appropriate academic degree. Assessing teacher performance in schools is not a simple matter. It takes a good communication within the school itself to make a good assessment standard. Good teacher performance appraisal standards do not just appear. It is necessary to seek agreement from the party who will assess (the principal) and the teacher to be assessed. Thus, there is a mutual understanding that the teacher performance appraisal process is not at all looking for faults but solely for improving performance so that schools can run better in practice. As well as how schools can help teachers to be better and more qualified in carrying out classroom learning.
Judging from the results of teacher observations at SD Negeri 3 Talang, there are still teachers who have not mastered the practical ability as they should. Most teachers only understand the theoretical abilities of teachers. A small example is the teacher only acts as a presenter of information, uses a one-way system and makes himself the subject of education. Teachers should be able to act as facilitators, motivators and mentors who provide more opportunities for students to find and process information themselves. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that: Academic supervision is able to improve the work ethic of teachers in dealing with teacher performance appraisals. This is evidenced by the results of observations in the pre-cycle only obtained a percentage of 50.00-51.25. Then in the first cycle the results increased by 20% and in the second cycle the results increased to 83.75 - 90.00 with "Good" criteria.
