Abstract

Cooperative learning model with Learning Community (LC) aspects, namely creating a classroom atmosphere into a learning community in that context, there is interaction of information from one student to another, high-ability students to low-ability students or vice versa. LC learning results can be felt evenly by all students, both weak and strong in ability and make the learning process fun. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, with the type of action research. In this study, the researcher collaborated with other teachers as well as with the principal. Researchers are directly involved in research from the beginning to the end of the research. Researchers try to see, observe, feel, appreciate, reflect and evaluate the ongoing learning activities. The stages of implementing action research consist of planning (planning), implementation (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (relecting). To get accurate research results, the data that has been collected is analyzed statistically by using the mean or average formula. From the results of the study, it was found that the average value in the first cycle was 69.83 and in the second cycle the average value was 73.97 and in the third cycle 79.31. Referring to the action hypothesis proposed in this classroom action research, it can be concluded that: "There is an increase in ability in the subject matter of economic growth in economic subjects with the learning community learning model in class XI.IPS.3 students of SMA Negeri 1 Ponorogo in the 2018 academic year/ 2019".
