Siti Nurfadilah Penerapan Metode Kerja Kelompok Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menjelaskan Konsep Partikel Materi Siswa Kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 2 Kec. Slahung Ponorogo Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018
Abstract
Science learning should be carried out by scientific inquiry (scientific inquiry) to
foster the ability to think, work and behave scientifically and communicate it as an
important aspect of life skills. One method that can be used as an alternative in
increasing students' motivation and mastery of learning is the group work method.
Therefore, this study took the title "The application of group work methods in improving
the ability to explain the concept of particle matter for Class VIII-A students of SMP
Negeri 2 Kec. Slahung Ponorogo for the 2017/2018 school year".
The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. The main concept of
action research according to Kurt Lewin consists of four components, namely 1)
planning (planning), 2) action (acting), 3) observation (observing), and 4) reflection
(reflecting). From the results of the implementation and observations of students and
teachers tend to be better each cycle, it can be concluded that: There is an increase in
the ability to explain the concept of material particles with the group work method of
class VIII-A SMP Negeri 2 Kec. Slahung Ponorogo for the 2017/2018 school year.
