Abstract

Cooperative Learning is learning that consciously and systematically develops
interactions that are mutually honing, caring for each other, mutual love between fellow
students as an exercise in living in real society. Cooperative learning model
(Cooperative Learning / CL) is a teaching model in which students learn in small
groups consisting of students who have different ability levels. Each group member
cooperates with each other in doing the task. This learning improvement takes the
subject of class X.MIPA.1 students of SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo for the 2019/2020
academic year in mastering mathematics subjects on basic competencies on the subject
matter of exponentials and logarithms which include: 1) presentation of student
attendance during the activity, 2) activeness and participation of students in groups, 3)
student interest during learning.
Based on the results obtained from the first cycle instrument, it can be seen that
the average value is 73.45. Students who score > out of 75 there are 20 students, it
means that students of class X.MIPA.1 SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo for the 2019/2020
academic year are still lacking in mastery of mathematics subject matter on the subject
matter of exponentials and logarithms. improvement in the second cycle the result is the
average value is 82.93. There were 29 students who scored > 75. All students of class
X.MIPA.1 SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo in the 2019/2020 academic year experienced an
increase in mastery of mathematics subject matter on the subject matter of exponents
and logarithms. From the results of observations and data analysis on this
improvement, it can be concluded that there is an increase in ability in the subject
matter of exponents and logarithms through the active learning method model providing
questions to get answers to students in class X.MIPA.1 SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo in the
2019/2020 academic year.
