Pengaruh Fraksi Volume Komposit Serat Kersen Terhadap Kekuatan Tarik Dan Impact Dengan Matriks Polyester
Abstract
This study aims to determine how the volume fraction variation of cherry fiber affects the tensile strength and impact strength by using Polyester Resin and using the Experimental composite molding method. The object of research is cherry fiber composites with volume fraction variations. The highest tensile strength in the composite with a volume fraction variation of 5% cherry fiber and 98% polyester resin is 21.23 Mpa. As for the value of the lowest tensile strength in the composite with a volume fraction variation of 3% cherry fiber and 97% resin, which is 13.50 Mpa. For testing the impact of the highest strength value by using a volume fraction variation of 2% cherry fiber and 98% polyester resin, which is 0.7893 J/mm². As for the value of the lowest impact strength on the composite with a volume fraction variation of 3% cherry fiber and 97% polyester resin, which is 0.4705 J/mm².
