Abstract

The creation of optimal learning conditions, the learning process takes place optimally as well. But if it cannot be provided optimally, of course it will cause interference with teaching and learning. Disturbances can be temporary so that they need to be returned to a suitable learning climate (ability to discuss), but disturbances can also be serious and persistent enough so that teachers are required to be able to manage the learning process well.

This research takes place in Class IV SD Negeri 2 Kedoyo. The method used in this study is Group Investigation learning, which is a research method based on the results of the considerations of the researchers themselves in order to obtain the necessary data. The research was carried out from February to March in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year. The object of this research is the students of Class IV Semester II SD Negeri 2 Kedoyo, Tulungagung Regency for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 22 students. With the application of the group investigation method, it is proven to be able to improve student learning achievement, this is proven by the percentage of student learning mastery significantly after receiving treatment from each cycle, namely before the cycle until the end of the cycle is 40.91%, 81.82%, and 100.00%. with the average value before the cycle until the second cycle as follows: 68.64; 85.00; and 93.18.
